VCA Berwyn Animal Hospital offers a wide range of services and is here to serve you for all of your pets’ needs from annual wellness visits to complicated surgical and medical procedures. We have 14 doctors on staff including specialists in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, and Surgery. We offer a 24 - hour emergency center and critical care unit where your pet will receive “round the clock” care and attention. Our general practice is by appointments but walk-ins are welcome. We accept Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, and Care Credit.

VCA Berwyn Animal Hospital is a 14 doctor group, 24 hour staffed, full service AAHA accredited hospital and is located in the western suburbs of Chicago. Berwyn has been AAHA certified for 50 years and was the very first 24-hour referral hospital in the Chicagoland area. Our practice is composed of a large referral as well as a general practice caseload and an emergency service. Staff members include 6 generalists, 3 emergency clinicians, and specialists including a board certified internist, a board certified neurologist, a board certified dermatologist, and a surgeon who is globally recognized for his research in orthopedic prosthetics and surgery. We also offer a small animal internship that we share with VCA Aurora Animal Hospital. This program provides interns with the unique opportunity to receive exposure to two different large specialty and general practices. Specialized capabilities include an in-house clinical laboratory, diagnostic imaging with digital radiography, radiology, ultrasonography, color flow Doppler echocardiography, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, and electrocardiography. Berwyn has a very talented staff consisting of 25 experienced technicians, of which 6 are certified and one is a registered nurse. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care for our patients as we strive to improve their health and increase their longevity.
