| VCA-Antech, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to join the Hospital Accounting Department at our Home Office in West Los Angeles. This position will be responsible for monthly preparation, analysis and distribution of hospital financial statements. Other key responsibilities will include: journal entries, account analysis, preparation of annual operating budgets and other hospital accounting projects. This position provides a great opportunity to see the overall financial picture of VCA’s animal hospitals and gain solid accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills required. The ideal candidate should also have 1 - 2 years of accounting work experience. | Corp Accountant/Acquisitions Analyst--Los Angeles

| VCA-Antech, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant/Acquisitions Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting department in our home office in Los Angeles. This position provides exposure to the company's growth first-hand, as well as a unique perspective of an overview of VCA Animal Hospitals and Antech operations. This position is responsible for purchase price accounting in connection with our Animal Hospital and Lab acquisitions, as well as working with the various components of acquisitions to ensure a smooth acquisition process from due diligence through transition. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, purchase price allocation, acquisition and intangible journal entries, cash flow support monthly rollforward schedules, coordination with Legal, Field, Seller/New Hospitals, and various Support Office Departments during the acquisition process, document review, due diligence analysis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong accounting skills, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines, ability to work well within a confidential environment with sensitive infomation, self-starter, team-oriented and must have great interpersonal skills.
