We are located five minutes north of the Mall of America and easily accessible from two major freeways. We offer dog and cat grooming as well as boarding facilities for dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets. Behavioral consultations by one of our staff veterinarians can be scheduled for pets with problems such as separation anxiety, litterbox problems, and aggression.
We emphasize progressive, high-quality medical care, including intravenous fluids for elective surgical procedures, pain management, and wellness screens for early detection of disease. Specialists can be contacted to perform advanced procedures on-site ranging from ultrasound and orthopedic surgery to CT scans.

Special Features:
VCA Animal Care Hospital is a busy, fast-paced hospital with a large and varied caseload. We take pride in our AAHA certification. We emphasize progressive, high-quality medical practices, including multimodal pain management, intravenous fluid therapy for elective surgeries, wellness screening for early disease detection, and client education on topics ranging from zoonotic parasites to basic puppy training. Available specialized equipment includes high-speed dental unit, dental radiography, EKG unit with access to interpretation by board-certified cardiologists, AuriFlush unit and video otoscope. We perform surgery five days a week and can contact board-certified surgeons to perform orthopedic and advanced soft tissue procedures. In addition, we share space with another local veterinarian who is available to perform ultrasound procedures and also offers CT scans on-site.

Our facility is located in Richfield and is easily accessible from two major freeways. Richfield is a friendly, diverse community with several beautiful parks and lakes, convenient shopping and dining, and close proximity to major Twin Cities attractions such as the Mall of America, Minnehaha Falls, the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes and Fort Snelling State Park. Nearby Veterans Memorial Park is the site of a farmers' market on Saturdays from May to October. Richfield also hosts a Fourth of July celebration and a fall festival annually.
