Special Features:
Airline Animal Hospital, which opened its doors in 1953, is located seven miles from downtown New Orleans in Metairie, a blend of old and new families. We have a very loyal, long-time clientele. The original owner/veterinarian still practices in this successful five-doctor hospital. In October 2003 we moved just a few miles down the street to a newly constructed facility that boasts more than 7,200 square feet. We have six exam rooms, grooming, and an expanded boarding facility. Our equipment is state-of-the-art and we offer some of the latest diagnostic equipment.
Hospital Description:
New Orleans is one of the top cultural and entertainment destinations in the U.S. with its French Quarter and legendary jazz and zydeco music. The history of New Orleans, including the architectural detail, as well as the difference between Cajuns and Creoles are all explored here. In New Orleans, we're "passin' a good time" with friends over fresh boiled crabs, shrimp, and crawfish right out of our local bayous and lakes. Food is a big part of the culture New Orleans! Over 150 years old, the offical Historic Landmark clangs, rumbles and rolls along scenic St. Charles Avenue-The New Orleans streetcar. They roll along one of the prettiest throughfares in the country. The uptown route runs beneath hugh arching oaks and past the handsome mansions of the Garden District. Along the streetcar route are the lush campuses of Loyola and Tulane Universities, the lawns of Audubon park, and the famous Audubon Zoo. The fishing in Louisiana is some of the best in the world!
