We have a full apartment located above the clinic for housing veterinary students from both the United States and abroad. We are dedicated to fostering and mentoring students interested in the veterinary profession. Our medical director has more than 25 years in the field and enjoys mentoring students and sharing his knowledge and dedication to the care of animals.
Hospital Description:
We are located on the northern tip of the beautiful Monterey Bay Sanctuary in California between San Francisco and the Carmel-Big Sur area. VCA Animal Hospital of Santa Cruz is minutes from beautiful beaches and redwood parks. We are within walking distance of downtown Santa Cruz, where fine dining and shopping is available. Bordered by beaches and the redwoods, the area is known for surfing, mountain biking, boating, fishing and hiking. Local theater and art and music festivals offer something for everyone. In the summer, the Beach Boardwalk attracts vacationers from all over. Our facility has been working with and for the community for more than two decades. We work hand in hand with local shelters and animal rescue groups. We are commited to our outreach programs and improving animal care and awareness in our community.
