Our staff of doctors offer a great learning environment for Veterinary and Veterinary Technician students. They are patient and willing to teach anyone who wants to learn. The doctors have continuous support from a variety of local specialists including, radiologists, cardiologists, internists and orthopedic surgeons. Located in the quiet community of Almaden Valley, we are just a hop, skip and jump from all the ammenities of Silicon Valley. Our hospital is close to local dog parks, major shopping malls, and all the cultural experiences downtown San Jose has to offer. Our clientele truly believe their pets are part of the family and are open to the treatment plans offered by our doctors.
VCA Almaden Valley offers a "homey" atmosphere in our newly remodeled hospital. With Almaden Lake in our backyard, it is not uncommon to find one of our employees taking a walk around the park on their lunch hour. From the street you might think we are just a house, but we are much more. Once you step through the doors you are greeted with the type of treatment you would expect from a family member.
We have a staff of over 30 employees, some have been with us for 20 years. Our 4 doctors all work together to bring our clients' pets the highest quality medicine possible. The technical staff are fully trained to deal with a variety of situations and they truly believe that the pet they are working on is one of their own. Our boarding facility of over 30 runs and cages, is very cozy for all of the animals when they are away from home. And our kennel staff makes sure they are as comfortable as possible.
